Because bedtime shouldn’t be so stressful…
What is bedtime like at your house? Do you dread putting your children to sleep for the night? Do they find ways to stall, make excuses to get out of bed over and over again? Does it take a long time for your children to get ready for bed and then hours for them to fall asleep? That is what it used to be like in our family — but Sleepy Time Adventures changed our bedtime from a battle zone to a peaceful bonding time.
Sleepy Time Adventures will not only decrease the stress in your family, it will help your children do better in school and in life!
It’s a fact that has been proven by science again and again, sleep begets sleep; sleep deprivation, begets sleep deprivation. What does that mean for your family? A new study found that if your child is missing out on even 30 minutes of sleep a night, then chances are your child is sleep-deprived. Sleep-deprived children don’t do as well in school, have more trouble managing stress, and are more prone to resisting going to bed. This is a vicious cycle because the less sleep your child gets, the more she fights going to bed. On the other hand, children who are well-rested, are easier to get to bed at night!
Sleepy TIme Adventures was created with your family’s needs in mind!
I am the mother of three children and my husband and I each have demanding careers outside the home. The bedtime battles were killing us! Sleepy Time Adventures was created to do three things: 1) Motivate children to be less resistant to going to bed, 2) help them stay in bed once they get there (end the constant getting out of bed for water, etc.), and 3) Help children fall asleep within 15 minutes of lying down. After one week of using Sleepy Time Adventures, if you have not experienced these three outcomes, then we will refund your money!

Kingdom of Dreams is the first in a multi-part series to help children look forward to bed time and reduce the amount of time it takes them to fall asleep. I created these Sleepy Time Adventures for my own children to change the bedtime battles into a peaceful ending to the day. Through guided relaxation, Sleepy Time Adventures helps children ages 4 to 12 to learn to fall asleep faster, by themselves, and without nagging. The results are well-rested children who not only don’t argue about bedtime, but who function better in school and at home. From a child’s perspective, Kingdom of Dreams is an adventure in the safety of their own bed — a friend who helps to transform going to bed into a wonderful experience of their own making. From a parent’s perspective, Sleepy Time Adventures is a partner in supporting the peaceful family you are.

What a treat!

So nice to see this new kind of “self-help” media for kids! Didn’t know it existed – but meditation hidden inside an adventure where my kids want to listen – a great concept. Keep it up! Looking forward to the next big adventure.
Love it! Happy Bedtimes!

Our girls love this bedtime “memotation!” Our youngest (6) looks forward to it every night and often wakes the next day telling us about her wonderful dreams. Our 9 year old offered this quote, “It is really, really, really relaxing. The music helps you fall asleep. Linnette’s voice is soothing and gentle.” One evening, our 9 year old insisted she was “too big” for the Kingdom of Dreams (she was feeling contrary and didn’t want to like anything her sister enjoyed). I invited her to stay up and read to me while her younger sister listened to the cd. From my room, we could just barely hear it. Several minutes into the book, MJ began slurring her words and nodding off. I asked what was wrong and she reluctantly admitted that even through 2 closed doors, the cd was putting her to sleep and asked if she could just go to bed! So much for being “too big!”
Thank you, Linnette. We look forward to new adventures…
Great idea and it works!
by heart see
Our kids listened to the whole thing through the first night and then went to sleep without a fuss. The second night they were both out in 10 minutes. For the last week they both get ready for bed, go to bed and don’t come out 5 times before finally going to sleep.
We love the story, and the hiss have been asking for more adventures. We especially love the worry box and the elevator.
